Red Hat-Linux Training (RHCSA / RHCE) & Lectures Commenced at PACE Institute

Sunday, 6^th of October 2013 was a much anticipated day for us at PACE Institute. Having been appointed as a Red Hat Certified Training Partner, notably the only other institute in Sri Lanka to be honoured with the much desired affiliation, we conducted the first lecture for Red Hat Certified Administration (Module I - RH 124) to an audience of students bubbling with enthusiasm.

'It was a momentous day for me', says Rohan de Silva (RHCI, RHCDS, RHCE, RHCVA) , Chief Red Hat Instructor at PACE who possesses enormous industry experience, 'I was overjoyed to be there as the lecturer. They were all committed students, keen on studying Linux System Administration. Their enthusiasm was infectious and created positive dynamics in the entire class-room. I'm confident our first batch of students will successfully complete the examinations and earn the prestigious RHCSA certification. PACE management offers me immense support in lecturing & training our students and encourages me to walk the extra mile for them.'

The lecture started with an interesting account of the history of Linux. Students most of them completely new to Linux OS- found it fascinating. As they raised questions and requested clarification, it built a thought-provoking intellectual dialogue. Students were also educated on the concept of 'Value Plus Professional', an effective method conceived and designed by PACE to build high-performing individuals who significantly contribute to the growth and success of their employers.

Students were pleasantly surprised to learn that they have the potential to earn the 'Value Plus Professional' Certification from PACE and reinforce their career success. 'I want all of them to perform outstandingly in the examinations', says de Silva with a grin, 'and build a strong base to become top professionals and successful leaders later on.'
