PACE Institute participated as an exhibitor at the popular Sri Lankan ICT exposition INFOTEL, organized by The Federation of Information Technology Industry Sri Lanka (FITIS), from October 24th – 26th 2014 at the BMICH. PACE Institute stall was eagerly visited by many students and young professionals who were interested in starting their higher studies in ICT related fields and getting into IT careers.

INFOTEL has evolved to be one of the largest technology exhibitions held in Sri Lanka and is patronized by the key decision makers of leading organizations. The exhibition features the widest range of ICT solutions and services like ICT education.

Themes of This year’s INFOTEL exhibition showcased different areas such as, Software Solutions, Hardware & Digital Devices, ICT Education & Training, System Integration, Emerging Technologies, Cloud Computing, Mobile Computing and Computer Gaming.

The exhibition was attended by a large crowd comprising of ICT professionals, school children, school leavers, young professionals, university students and young job seekers expecting to find out about latest Sri Lankan ICT products, technological advancements & innovations and ICT education.

Student counseling sessions were conducted for the students seeking more information and guidance on the different education paths, career aspects, ICT career trends by PACE Institute student counselors and academic staff.

Many participants were keen on getting more information about the educational programmes offered at PACE Institute such as CPWD(Certified Professional in Web Development),BCS (British Computer Society) Higher Education Qualifications , LINUX beginners programme, Red Hat Certification training for Red Hat Certified Systems Administrator(RHCSA) & Red Hat Certified Engineer(RHCE).

The Digital Marketing Courses offered at PACE by collaborating with the Digital Marketing Institute of Ireland was a highlight of the course offerings by PACE Institute. PACE Institute being the only Certified Education Partner in Sri Lanka for the Digital Marketing Institute of Ireland, many digital marketing enthusiasts made inquiries about the course.

With a wide publicity throughout the country and the region, and with over 250 exhibitors &over 30,000 visitors, many participants were able to receive valuable education and career path advices from PACE Institute representatives during the 3 days.
