A free session on ‘Writing CV and how to face a job interview’ conducted by PACE Institute as part of our CSR initiatives was successfully concluded at Central College, Maharagama on Monday, the 19^th of February, 2018. Considering the students’ lack of knowledge in these vital competencies in general even as they are nearing the completion of their school life and are about to step into the world of work, PACE Institute offered to hold this workshop as the first of its kind in 2-18.

Attended by some 80 students from the Grade 13 and 12, the session was conducted by a trainer from PACE Institute who possesses expert knowledge in the field of career guidance. When asked how it went, they gave a very enthusiastic response saying that it taught them a lot of vital things they didn’t have a clue about.

At PACE Institute, we’re pleased to receive such a lavish compliment and reckon it a great encouragement for us to carry this CSR initiative on as we remain firm in the belief that we have an important social responsibility to fulfill here as a professional and higher education institute that continually strives to go beyond providing qualifications and to build world-class professionals who truly contribute to the growth and success of their employers.

We give our sincerest thanks to Ms. Chathurika, an ICT teacher and the principal who helped us make this session a real success. Our sincerest hope is for the participants to use every insight they have gathered from the session to achieve their personal and professional growth once they enter the world of work.
